Born in Arles , France. Canadian citizen since 1980, and living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada .

Completed a B.Sc. Geology (1991) and a M.Sc. Geology (1993) at McGill University , Montreal , Canada .  Fluent in French and English (both verbal and written).  Worked in the petroleum industry as a geologist from 1994 until 2004 (Shell Canada, Crestar, Conoco, PanCanadian, Encana).  Co-founder of, and translator for, e-French translation since 1998.
